3. Service Agreements and Quotations

All service quotations provided by Utilitycorner are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Quotations are based on the information provided by the client and site assessment conducted by our team. Final pricing may be adjusted if site conditions differ from initial assessments or if additional work is required.

3.1 Project Modifications

Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be requested in writing and will be subject to revised quotations. Additional charges may apply for modifications made after project commencement.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms for our skylight installation services are as follows:

• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required upon acceptance of quotation to secure your booking
• Progress Payment: 40% is due upon commencement of installation work
• Final Payment: The remaining 30% is payable upon completion and client acceptance of work
• Payment Methods: We accept bank transfers, credit cards, and approved payment platforms

4.1 Late Payment

Payments not received within 14 days of the due date may incur a late payment fee of 2% per month on the outstanding balance. Utilitycorner reserves the right to suspend services until payment is received in full.

5. Warranties and Guarantees

Utilitycorner stands behind the quality of our workmanship and materials. We provide:

• A 12-month workmanship warranty on all installation services
• Manufacturer warranties on skylight products as specified by the manufacturer
• Free inspection and assessment within the warranty period for reported issues

6. Client Responsibilities

To ensure successful project completion, clients agree to:

1. Provide accurate information about the property and any existing conditions
2. Obtain necessary building permits and approvals where required
3. Ensure safe and clear access to work areas
4. Inform us of any hazardous materials or conditions on the property
5. Be available for consultations and project milestone approvals
6. Make timely payments according to the agreed schedule

7. Limitation of Liability

While Utilitycorner takes every precaution to ensure quality service delivery, our liability is limited to the total value of the service contract. We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from our services. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of business, revenue, or anticipated savings.

7.1 Force Majeure

Utilitycorner shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, government actions, pandemics, or supply chain disruptions.

8. Intellectual Property

• Before Work Commences: Cancellations made before work begins will forfeit the initial deposit
• After Work Commences: Cancellations after work has started will be charged for all work completed plus materials purchased

In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions or our services, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through mediation before pursuing legal action.

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
